Stoddart NZ Officially Open New Mangere Facility

Since opening an initial warehouse of around 350m² in Onehunga around 3 years ago, it has been an interesting and challenging journey for Stoddart New Zealand. Despite the challenges with Covid over the past 2 years Stoddart NZ team has approached each challenge head on and adjusted direction and strategy accordingly.

Officially opened on May 13 with a rolling series of seminars that attracted industry participants from throughout New Zealand’s food service sectors, the new Stoddart New Zealand showroom, demonstration kitchen and warehouse located in Mangere has been specifically designed to effectively highlight and demonstrate the range of products they represent. Now utilising 1,640m² of warehouse and showroom/offices, the new Stoddart facility allows for a much larger range of products to be stocked, with increased stock levels and improved supply chain management accommodating larger containers.

A purpose built demonstration kitchen led by Chef/Sales Specialist Adam Dickson, showcases the wide range of Stoddart manufactured and distributed products including: Halton Ventilation, Culinaire Commercial Equipment, Woodson Countertop Equipment, Airex Refrigeration, Giorik Ovens and Modular Equipment, Metro Shelving, Synergy Grills, CookTek Induction and Adande Refrigerated Drawers.

“The flexibility of the facility allows us to provide equipment demonstration and training while also providing space available for industry and fundraising events using the purpose built kitchen.”

Opening the new warehouse Stoddart GM/Director, Tony Stoddart, said he was incredibly proud of the achievements of the team in bringing the new warehouse to fruition.

“This new warehouse has allowed for a much larger range of products to be stocked, displayed and provides improved supply chain management.”

Stoddart proudly worked alongside the selected builder and contractors to ensure all equipment was designed and installed to specification and delivered on time to make 52 Pavilion Drive, Mangere a location aspiring and established hospitality participants must add to their places of interest list.
